Mail Chat
Turn received Gmail into a chat session with a default agent.
Type
google.gmail.channel.mailListed only when this connected service is enabled.
Mail Chat connects a Gmail mailbox to a workspace channel. Incoming mail becomes a chat session so agents can use the email in a conversation and reply.
Inbound routing, Start Chat, and event-handler priority are the same for every channel — see Channels.

There is no extra channel-specific form. Vettero uses the mailbox on that Google connection. That mailbox is the channel address. For Start Chat, set Channel identifier to the recipient’s email.
When the channel is active, Gmail watch is kept in sync for the inbox. Disabling or deleting the channel stops that watch. Use a normal chat agent as the default (not voice).
Use case
- A shared support or info mailbox: each thread becomes a chat with the default agent, who can read the mail and reply in Gmail.
- Start Chat when an agent or workflow should email someone and keep the thread as a session.
- Leave Mail Received for create-ticket / notify flows with no conversational agent. An active Mail Chat channel takes that mailbox first.
