Request Information pauses until people with the selected roles submit answers on Approvals. Use it for structured questions, not a simple yes/no — that is Request Approval. Details are on Approval Flow.
This type is valid on general and agent-tool workflows, not on chat graphs. Attach it as an agent tool when the model should collect answers mid-run.

Use case
- Collect a reason code and free-text notes from ops before updating a table.
