Is Falsy

Route true when the value counts as no (false, 0, empty text, or missing).

Type

Scope

Any

Is Falsy checks one context variable and continues on true when the value counts as no: false, 0, empty text, or missing/null. true, non-zero numbers, and non-empty text take false.

Empty lists and empty objects still count as yes, so they take false here. Use Is Empty if those should take true.

Use Is Truthy for the inverse.

Configure

SettingDescription
VariableContext path to test (args.*, pipe.*, named variables, and so on)

If Variable is not set, the run takes the false path.

Handles

HandleRole
In (target)Incoming connection
Out (source)Continues when the value counts as no
FalseContinues when the value counts as yes

Connect both outlets if every path should keep running. An unconnected outlet ends that branch.

Pipe schema

The next block reads this on the data pipe (pipe.value).

FieldTypeDescription
Resultbooleantrue when the value counts as no

Use case

  • Skip work when a flag is off, a count is 0, or a text field is blank.
  • Mirror Is Truthy when the “off” path is the one you want to name as the main outlet.
  • Use Is Empty when 0 should still be treated as a real value.
