Multi Select shows checkboxes in a chat session and continues with the chosen items. For a single choice with per-option branches, use List. Shared bind, navigation, and error options are on Input.
Configure
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Prompt | Message shown with the options |
| Options Type | Static (edit the list here) or Dynamic (list from a Variable) |
| Label / ID | Each static option needs a unique ID and a Label |
| Minimum Selections / Maximum Selections | How many boxes the person must / may tick |
| Error Handler / Navigation / Binding Variable | Shared input options |
Dynamic needs a variable that holds the option list. Static needs at least the options you add in the inspector.
Handles
| Handle | Role |
|---|---|
| In (target) | Incoming connection |
| Out (source) | Continues after a valid selection (or skip / ignore) |
Pipe schema
The next block reads this on the data pipe (pipe.value). The value is a list. Each chosen item is an object:
| Key | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
id | text | Option id |
If Binding Variable → Key is set, the same list is stored under that name.
When you write each item into a table, the column key must be id, not Id.
Use case
- Let someone pick several product interests or notification topics.
- Drive a loop with For Of over the selected ids.
