Scope
Any
Get Table Info loads metadata for one table: name, description, fields, and the row value shape. Use it when a later step needs column keys and types rather than row data.
Use Table Find to load rows. Use List Tables to list every table.
Configure
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Table | Workspace table (required) |
Handles
| Handle | Role |

| Out (source) | Continues after the metadata is loaded |
Pipe schema
The next block reads this on the data pipe (pipe.value). The value is an object:
| Key | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
id | text | Table id |
name | text | Table name |
description | text | Description when set |
fields | list | Field metadata (keys, types, labels) |
schema | object | Row value shape for data, including id, createdAt, and updatedAt |
Use case
- Inspect column keys before an insert so mapped fields match.
- Show field labels in chat before collecting values with input blocks.
