Duration is computed from two Date Time columns on the same row. You do not type a value.
Name, key, hidden, and permissions are the same for every column — see Tables.

After you change Config, use Recalculate values on the column menu if existing rows look stale.
Use case
- Time on a ticket (opened → closed), shift length, or campaign run (start → end).
- Sort the grid for longest-running jobs or shortest cycle time.
- Pick Unit (hours, days, …) so the number matches how the team talks about the span.
