Multi Select stores several options from a list you define. Use Single Select when only one tag is allowed.
Name, key, hidden, and permissions are the same for every column — see Tables.

| Options | Labels (must be unique). Optional icon, color, and hidden. |
| Max selections | Optional cap on how many tags a row can have |
Use case
- Skills, labels, languages, or product tags when a row can have several at once.
- Cap Max selections (for example up to 3 topics) on forms and in the grid.
- Filter rows that include a given tag. For one choice only, use Single Select.
