Rich Text

Rich Text stores long formatted content (not a single-line title). Use Text for short labels and Markdown when you want Markdown source only.

Name, key, hidden, and permissions are the same for every column — see Tables.

Configure

This type has no extra Config. You only set the shared column settings.

Unsafe markup is stripped when a value is saved.

Use case

• Job descriptions, meeting notes, or knowledge articles that need headings, lists, and emphasis.
• Public forms where respondents write a long answer (cover letter, incident write-up).
• Anything too long or too formatted for a one-line Text cell.
