Pinecone
Connect a Pinecone index as your own vector store.
Provider
pineconePinecone is the “your own” vector store for knowledge bases. You bring an index; Vettero stores and searches vectors in that index.

Get an API key and index on Pinecone
- Open the Pinecone console and sign in.
- Create or open a project.
- Create an index (or use an existing one). Note the exact index name. Dimension and metric must match the embedding model you will pick in Vettero.
- Open API keys and create a key. Copy it once.

Connect in Vettero
Open Integrations → Third Party Services, add Pinecone, then Connect Now.

Use it
When you create a knowledge base, choose Your own and this connection. You set the Namespace yourself. See Knowledge Bases.
