File

List, get, update, copy, move, persist, and delete workspace files from a workflow.

File blocks sit in the builder palette under file. They work on the same workspace files you manage under Data → Files. Shared graph rules are on Workflows.

Chat uploads stay until the conversation is deleted. Other surfaces can create temporary files with an expiry — use Persist File to keep one. Copy File makes a new upload-storage file. Move File keeps the same id and moves the bytes into upload storage.

Delete File soft-deletes. To send a file in chat, use File output, not these blocks.

List Files

List workspace files, optionally filtered by name.

Get File

Get a workspace file by id.

Update File

Update file name and/or expiry by id.

Soft-delete a workspace file by id.

Create File from URL

Download a file from a URL into upload storage.

Copy a file into upload storage as a new file.

Persist File

Remove expiry from a file so it is kept permanently.

Move File

Move a file from another storage bucket into upload storage.
