Files

Files is the workspace file library. You upload assets, rename or replace them, copy their URL or id, and download or delete them. Other surfaces (chat, tables, knowledge bases) also create files in related storage buckets; this page is where you manage the shared upload library.

Use it when agents, quick replies, table fields, or workflows need a stable file id or public URL.

When to use

• Store reusable media or documents that agents and workflows can load by id
• Replace or rename an uploaded file without changing its id
• Pick a workspace file for a chat-profile quick reply or a table File / Multi File field

Add a file

Open Data → Files and choose Add File.

1. Upload a file.
2. Set Name (the extension is shown from the upload).
3. Save.

After create, the row menu supports Edit, Copy URL, Copy Id, Download, and Delete.

Search and column filters help you find files by name, type, or MIME.

Edit a file

Edit lets you change the name or replace the binary. Replacement must keep the same generic type (for example, image → image). Type mismatches are rejected.

Agents can also load files into short-term memory when configured for file-aware turns.

Limits

• Max size depends on type (for example images ~10MB, PDFs ~50MB, video up to hundreds of MB). Oversized uploads fail.
• The Files list can include files created from other surfaces, not only Add File uploads.
